New provider: Bunny.net
Bunny.net is now supported for domains management!
Bunny.net, like Cloudflare, is a content delivery network (CDN) that helps you speed up your website by caching your content on servers around the world.
We only support basic DNS records. CDN functionalities are not supported at the moment, there is too much vendor-specific logic to handle. DNS Records that are Accelerated
will be marked as such in the UI, and you will still be able to manage the origin IP address.
Bunny.net does not support updating the subdomain of a DNS record. This is not the first time we've encountered this limitation (Ionos has the same limitation). As we want a unified experience regardless of the provider, when you update the name of a DNS record, we delete the old one and create a new one with the new name. If your record is Accelerated
, we will copy the entire configuration including the AcceleratedPullZoneId
that links the record to the CDN.
All of this should be transparent to you, that's one of the goal of Unolia. Another inherent benefit you get from using Unolia is a nice responsive design that works on all devices.
Bunny.net and Ionos have another thing in common: they both support disabled state for DNS records. This is a feature we would like to bring to all providers. We think it's a great feature with a lot of use cases. You can expect to see this feature on Unolia in the near future.
